About Harrow
Harrow is a suburban area in Greater London. It serves as the principal
settlement of the London Borough of Harrow.
The modern town of Harrow is what was historically called Greenhill, a
former hamlet at the foot of the 408 feet (124 m) Harrow Hill settlement.
With the arrival of the Metropolitan Railway, in the 19th century, the
centre of Harrow moved to Greenhill.
Home to the world famous Harrow School and with its listed buildings of
Georgian architecture.
Located in Harrow is the Clementine Churchill Hospital as well as Northwick
Park Hospital.
Harrow town centre is a great place to eat, drink and socialise or to do a
spot of shopping.
